There are plenty of tools that help you in creating content and running your social media pages. Some of these tools require you to pay for them upfront or to enjoy their premium benefits. This may not be feasible if you or your business has just started on social media or are struggling with finances. However, there are a few free tools that can help you save time, improve your social media game, and make the whole process a lot more efficient. Here are a few of these tools that are absolutely free to use -

  • Canva - Canva is the best free content creation tool out there. Create posts for any social media platform with Canva on their website, here. You can also make them on your phone with the Canva app although the website has a lot more features. You also have the option to upgrade to Canva Pro. It is totally worth the price of the yearly membership plan as it has loads of features that come along with it.

  • Over - Over is available for download as an app and works amazingly well to create content on the go using your smartphone. Download Over on the App Store or Google Play.

  • Creator Studio - Creator Studio by Facebook lets you manage posts, insights, and messages from all of your Facebook and Instagram Pages in one place. It is also available for download as an app.

  • Freepik - This website has loads of free stock images, PSD templates, and illustrations that you can use for your social media content. It has also recently introduced the option of creating content for your social media platforms. Check out the website, here.

  • Pexels - Pexels is a great place to look for your preferred stock images as well as videos that can take your social media game to a new level. Alternatives to Pexels are Pixabay and Unsplash.

  • Kapwing - Kapwing covers all the simple video editing features along with adding audio, images, text, captions, watermarks, and much more. Kapwing does not have an app. If you need to edit videos on the go, using your smartphone - you may try YouCut.

  • Feedly - Stuck on content ideas? Feedly brings you new and interesting content that is either of your interest or from news sources and twitter feeds. You can also search for content on the platform using specific keywords. Also available for download as an app.
